BioSculpt Body —BUILD MUSCLE / BURN FAT
BioSculpt Body uses Electromagnetic vibration technology, to release electromagnetic vibration energy through a large treatment handle. This stimulates motor neurons, so that the body’s muscles continue to expand and contract during the treatment. (This kind of contraction cannot be achieved by your usual/normal exercise or hit exercise)

How does it work?

The treatment is non-invasive, and painless, no radiation and there is no need for a recovery period. A 30min treatment time can stimulate 20,000 strong muscle contractions, which helps strengthen the muscle, increases the growth of myofibrils (muscle enlargement) and can also trigger lipolysis (helps the fat cells to metabolize and breakdown)

4 paddles can be used in the 1 session of BioSculpt, for example 2 areas in 30mins, arms can be done with stomach , butt and arms, stomach and thighs

BioSculpt Pelvic is an applicator that the client sits on fully clothed for 30min.

Treatment Procedure:
  • It is advised to drink at least 1.5 to 2litres of water to ensure you are hydrated, eg a couple of days leading up to your treatment and in the days following. This will ensure you are hydrated to help eliminate the liquified fat.
  • It is recommended to not eat within an hour before your treatment or an hour after
  • Comfortable clothes can be worn.
  • A consent form will be filled out for your treatment plan, which the therapist will go over with you and answer any questions you may have.
  • Before photos will be taken to monitor your progress.

The client can be fully clothed, although no metal should be on your clothing in the treatment site nor should any metal touch the handles. Or you can opt for the treatment paddle to be directly on the skin.

A large paddle will be placed on the area. At first a 1min warmup session will be performed, then we will gradually turn the intensity up to your comfort level.

What does the client feel?

There is no pain, and the treatment is non invasive and there is no need for a recovery period. The feeling can be similar if you were doing an intense muscle training session, with short bursts of muscle contraction followed by a short interval of rest. There are different treatment cycles depending on the intensity, such as New to Treatment, HITT, Shaping, Weight Loss, your therapist will be able to determine which is suitable for you.

Who can be Treated?

Most people are safe to have the treatment. Your trained therapist will be able to determine your suitability when you come in for your treatment, and below are requirements of who cannot do the treatment. Consult your doctor if you are not sure if this treatment is suitable.

Who cannot be treated?

People with the following cannot receive this treatment:

cardiac and vascular diseases, heart disease, Hypertension, thyroid condtions, impaired kidney or liver function, metal implants, autoimmune disorders, active cancer, malignant tumour, pacemaker carriers, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, menstruating, epilepsy

Used with caution- muscle strain, Thrombophiebtis, stroke patients

Areas for Treatment:

The areas of the body for treatment include, stomach, arms, shoulders, thighs, butt. Not to be used over the neck , head or near the spinal column

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects. Some may experience muscle tenderness in the area after the treatment, slight redness or warmth in the area from the continued contact, and some people may feel thirsty. If during your treatment you feel uncomfortable let your therapist know.

Guidelines Before and After Treatment:

Its advisable to not eat within an hour before or after your treatment.
We recommend a low-calorie diet with high protein during your treatments, and drink at least 1.5 litres to 2litres of water before and after the session in order to eliminate the fat.

Regular exercise such as walking or other aerobic activities should also be maintained in order to help the body system to naturally process the fat after the treatment.

Number of Treatments and Frequency:

For best results a course of 4 to 6 are recommended twice a week with a minimum of 2days in between each session. Total treatment should not exceed 1hr on the same area
