Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation
Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation is a non-invasive, no pain, non-surgical procedure, which uses a high energy low frequency sound to break down the fat cells into a liquid.

When fat cells and fatty tissue are exposed to ultrasonic energy of the right frequency, they become energised with heat and vibration, and break down to a liquified state. The fat cells are converted into liquid, which then the body eliminates via the body’s natural filtration system(via the lymphatic system), eg via sweating, urination.
Due to the specific ultrasound parameters of energy, only the fat cells are interrupted and do not interfere with any other organs.

Ultrasonic fat cavitation treatments can;

  • Tighten skin
  • Reduce cellulite
  • Contour
  • Reduce body size i.e. circumference of treated area
Treatment Procedure:

It is advised to drink at least 1.5 of water a couple of days leading up to your treatment. This will ensure you are hydrated to help eliminate the liquified fat.
A consent form will be filled out, which the therapist will go over this with you and answer any questions you may have.

The therapist will apply ultrasound gel to the treatment area, this allows for the sound conductivity and ease of skin contact. The therapist will then glide the handle over the area to eliminate the fat cells.

What does the client feel?

There is no pain, some say its like a massage. There is a little applied pressure, but this should not be uncomfortable. You will hear a noise in your hear from the frequency waves. This maybe a little distracting at first, but most dont even notice it after a short period. The skin may be warm and a little red as the result of increased blood circulation but shortly returns to normal.

Who can be Treated?

Most people are safe to have the treatment. Your trained therapist will be able to determine your suitability. Consult your doctor if you are not sure. People with cardiac and vascular diseases, impaired kidney or liver function, metal implants in the area for treatment, autoimmune disorders, active cancer, pacemaker carriers and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid undergoing the procedure.

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects. Some may experience a tenderness in the area after the treatment, slight redness in the area from the continued contact, some people may feel thirsty.

Is Ultrasonic Cavitation Painful?

No, cavitation is a painless treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. The heat from the hand pieces felt during the treatment is perfectly tolerable.

Guidlines Before and After Treatment:

We recommend a low-calorie diet and drink at least 1.5 litres of water before and after the session. Drinking water is a necessary part in order to eliminate the fat. Regular exercise such as walking or other aerobic activities should also be maintained in order to help the system to naturally process the fat after the treatment.

How much time in Between treatments?

The body eliminates the fat of single a session in approximately 72 hours, so we recommend an interval of around 2 sessions per week.

Number of Treatments and Frequency:

For ultimate results, it is recommended 6 – 10 treatments 2 per week or once a week
